Alert:
...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHWESTERN WORCESTER AND 
NORTHERN ACCOMACK COUNTIES... 
 
At 123 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast of 
Pocomoke City, moving south at 15 mph. 
Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with 
this storm. In addition...Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
possible with this storm. 
Locations impacted include... 
Pocomoke City, West Pocomoke, Bloxom, Horntown, Mappsville, Goodwill, 
Greenbackville, Wallops Island, Temperanceville, Nelsonia, Sanford, 
Modest Town, Oak Hall, Guilford, Assawoman, Beaver Dam, Atlantic and 
New Church. 
Motorists should use extra caution in the vicinity of this storm. Be 
prepared for rapid changes in weather and road conditions. Heavy rain 
could cause ponding of water on roads...and possible minor flooding 
of ditches and poor drainage areas.

SOUTHWESTERN WICOMICO COUNTIES... 
 
At 111 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Princess Anne, 
moving south at 10 mph. 
Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail are possible with 
this storm. 
Locations impacted include... 
Princess Anne, University Of Maryland Eastern Shore, Westover, Deal 
Island, Marion Station, Whitehaven, Green Hill, Oriole, Trinity, 
Fairmount, Upper Hill, Kingston, Dames Quarter, Allen, Widgeon, 
Manokin, Upper Fairmount, Mount Vernon, Monie and Rumbley. 
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. 
Lightning can strike more than 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. 
Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
