The Japanese government has warned its citizens that they may have less than 10 minutes to prepare for a missile fired from North Korea.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's office issued new "actions to protect yourself" guidelines this week, The Washington Post reportedTuesday, including instructions for the first time on how to respond to a ballistic missile from Pyongyang.
Three of the four missiles North Korea launched on March 6 landed within Tokyo's exclusive economic zone in the Sea of Japan, the Post reports.
The body of water separates Japan and the Korean Peninsula.
Pyongyang said later that it was practicing to hit U.S. military bases in Japan.
"When a missile is launched from North Korea, it will not take long to reach Japan," one response in to a "frequently asked question" reads, according to the Post. "For example, the ballistic missile launched from [North Korea] on February 7 last year took 10 minutes to fly over Okinawa."

Remember "The Sleeping Dog" that only a few decades ago was of great concern. Today America sends them trillions of U.S. Trade Dollars for the garbage they produce and sell to Americans which closed down U.S. factories and removed our jobs. Who allowed this intentional destruction to America/Americans/You/Me to happen? Did we ask for cheaper, definitely inferior products to buy? Were we willing to pay a little more for quality? Most of us were and still are. Who did this to America if the citizens were not behind that goal? It was Crooked Greedy Politicians stuffing their own pockets/their reelection campaigns with Chinese held American U.S. Dollar$. So now China is the biggest threat in the world by economic strength and sheer numbers of human beings. How do they find out what the world will tolerate concerning aggression? North Korea - The sounding board for China. NOTHING North Korea does happens without the A-OK from China. NOTHING! China is the real problem because Fat Boy could be killed within seconds if they wanted their Fat Puppet dead. Nothing will get better until China has NO access to pushing their manufactured garbage into America. Cut off the U.S. $$$'s - Their economy tanks - the people get angry with their communist government - China then has "at home" problems and will shut "The Fat Ones" mouth, possibly remove him (like in Dead).
If we are going to war, then DECLARE it. And go at it full throttle.
I'm sick and tired of presidents and Congress starting "conflicts", where we do half-assed fighting that is mostly concerned with not hurting anyone.
We need to make sure that the whole planet knows what happens when they play tough guy with the USA.
The result should be total, absolute destruction, killing everything down to the paramecium, without mercy or quarter. Without forewarning or notice. And do not stop until thermal readings are at zero.
Remember that we gave Japan TWO chances to quit fighting us. They decided to continue to fight. So we slaughtered 250,000 women and children (read that again) and destroyed two cities. THAT is war.
