Former Md. governor Martin O’Malley deposed in redistricting lawsuit

Former Maryland governor Martin O’Malley (D) was deposed Wednesday by attorneys in a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the state’s 2011 redistricting process, which O’Malley oversaw.

The lawyers deposed Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller Jr. (D-Calvert) on Monday and House Speaker Michael E. Busch (D-Anne Arundel) last week.

Both lawmakers played key roles in the redistricting process. They and O’Malley tried unsuccessfully to avoid turning over records and testifying in the lawsuit, citing legislative and executive privilege.

He is now just an ordinary State employee who could not find a job following 8 years of pissing off Marylanders and challenging Hillary for the Whitehouse. He should just stick to doing old guy gigs in Baltimore bars assuming he can find one where he may not get shot.

They come and they go....

He does have a job - teaching a course in political leadership to 30 to 60 "snowflakes", at the Un of MD, College Park. Students will be analyzing various case studies that the former governor has derived from his experiences in office. He is lecturing a course to some snowflakes at Boston U presently. Busy, busy , busy teaching 1 day a week for about 2 hours.

O'Malley is just a disgrace to Maryland! How do we ignore this cancer on our state? Such an embarrassment for us!
