Marylanders among federal prisoners to be released early

BALTIMORE —Hundreds of Marylanders in federal prison are about to receive their "get out of jail early" cards.

The move is part of new sentencing guidelines for non-violent offenders nationwide. This reduced sentences are for people convicted in drug trafficking cases in federal court.

Supporters say the shift is a way to end harsh sentences, though others worry what will happen once they come back into their communities.

Thanks to a vote last year by the independent U.S Sentencing Commission, the prison doors on Nov. 1 will open early for roughly 140 Marylanders convicted in federal drug trafficking cases.

That's exactly right 2:46. These criminals will end up in the inner cities creating more chaos and the morons who reside in the cities sit there and wonder why their neighborhoods are war zones. If they are so stupid that they haven't figured out that obama could care less about them then they deserve to be murdered and anything else bad that happens to them.

Weed? Who cares? And you can't say that. Some of these guys have spent decades locked up over .....like you said ,weed. Smdh. Cops must've glued your eyes shut. Your one blind person if you can't see that this is in part a good thing. Not 100% but somewhat.

Obama's Army Sect'y spoke of a coming compulsory draft... Perhaps they too can now expect to be called on to serve. Marxists always release prison population to help in the Revolution. It will not affect Obama, he vacations and golfs in rich white areas and his kids are in expensive private schools, oh and his guards will always have guns for protection. Increasingly the rest of us will be the criminals for carrying protection.

We aren't gonna relieve our drug problem by releasing these offenders. On the contrary.

Taking heroin can result in the complete destruction of one's life. We know that.

Getting busted with heroin, will probably result in the complete ruination of one's life.

Smoking pot, does not result in destroying one's life.

It takes the government's intervention to cause pot to destroy one's life.
