Joe Montana says Quraterback Tom Brady responsible for Deflategate

Hall of fame Quarterback Joe Montana of the San Francisco 49ers has no doubt in his mind that patriots quarterback Tom Brady is responsible for the Deflategate scandal.

'If I ever want a ball a certain way, I don’t do it myself. So, somebody did it for him,' said Montana on Thursday.

'But I don’t know why everybody is making a big deal out of trying to figure out who did it. It’s pretty simple. If it was done, it was done for a reason. There is only one guy that does it. Nobody else cares what the ball feels like,' he added.

I agree. Playing football since he was 10 years old, and now at 37, Brady ought to know by now what his balls should feel like.

one quick way to settle this once and for all. all play with the same balls. get 25 or so and then take turns using them so each team plays with the same ones. only fair way.

Duh, Joe Montana is just stating the obvious, and what everyone else already knows. But the NFL will have to have a six month "investigation" to come to the same conclusion, and then hope that the negative publicity and interest in NFL cheating and game fixing has blow over.

The football teams should not be able to supply their own footballs for a game. They should be supplied by the NFL who controls them at all times. That way, there is no question whether they are legal or not & who is responsible for them.

Obama would say Bush did it...

Everyone I know is rooting for Seahawks because the Patriots are cheaters. Teaching moment for parents.

Yes I agree. Teaching moment for parents...innocent until proven guilty.

This isn't the first time this team [New England Patriots| have been involved in cheating scandals. I think that, alone, speaks volumes about the issue. Quite honestly, Montana has nailed it., who else cares what the ball feels like. Brady is simply a cheater and has lost all respect I ever had for him.

30 psi @ room temperatures just might read less @ lower colder temperatures outside. deflategate is a big turn off. who believes it is stupid.

But 11:14, you also have to account for the center's handling of the balls as well. Too much ball handling probably makes it difficult to discern just how hard or soft they are.
