Hundreds Turn Out For Vigil To Mourn 2 Shot In Salisbury

Kristen Loetz cannot talk or walk. But she can write.

The 20-year-old Salisbury University student was shot by her ex-boyfriend Tuesday night. She’s currently being treated at Shock Trauma.

She cannot talk, but she did write a note—a note to her mom that said “I love you,” said Salisbury President President Janet Dudley-Eshbach.

Hey Janet,

You had hundreds in yellow shirts last week, how come they don't have the shirts in this pic? Mandatory rule to live on campus? Yellow shirts? Whats the next move to keep all students the same and be fair? One thing you have done. There are thousands of graduates with no jobs, well done!

Please keep this young woman in your heart. It is difficult to imagine the pain and emotional struggles she is having to endure.

Daughter left SU for an out of state school. Real hit to the budget. But, I am not concerned for her well being. SU needs to be more connected to the community.
