BOB COSTAS EXPLOITS NFL MURDER/SUICIDE TO TAKE OUR GUNS

We saw it after that terrible movie theatre shooting in Coloradoback in July, and now we're seeing it with the tragic murder/suicide involving Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher. Damn logic, damn facts, damn waiting for a little something known as an investigation -- we have a tragedy, we have a gun, and now we have yet another opportunity to push an agenda meant to strip Americans of their God-given Second Amendment rights.

Last night during NBC's NFL telecast, Bob Costas did something the NFL has always been very good about avoiding -- inserting politics into what Americans of all political stripes see as one of the few remaining escapes from the divisive partisanship that seems to infect everything these days. Taking advantage of a captive halftime audience, Costas sucker punched millions with a left-wing sermon about gun control. The fact that Costas does this while God Bless America can be heard in the background is not an irony that should be lost on anyone:

poor taste. even worse judgment. It alaways amazes me how people who live in gated communities or have security staff, or have small armies that are authorized to KILL YOU for even getting too close to them, want to take OUR weapons.

Bob Costas is an Freakin Liberal Idiot. I hope he has an traumatizing incident where he wishes he had a gun to defend himself.

Just like singers, actors, etc who become politically active. They too need to stick to what they do best.8:55-I agree, but people like Costas live such a sheltered and guarded life that things like traumatizing incidents won't happen to them and they know it.

Hank Williams Jr. made a comment about Obama in an interview and is no longer involved in MNF. I know Bob Costas is a whining liberal who lives in a bubble, but someone had to approve or even issue this statement to be delivered on national TV. Bob Costas is just a talking head who agreed to deliver this dribble.

If they ban guns, I hope when Costas has a home invasion, he can defend his self with words to the criminal. Does he understand that that the only thing that keeps people from breaking in while we are home is the fear we may have a gun. He needs to go, he has out lived his usefulness on NBC Sports. Contact NBC and request he no longer do sports, but on the Sunday shows.

Costa's a fool who is making an excuse for a ghetto thug. The bottom line is you can take them out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of them! That's all there is to this story-no more no less.
