Camden-The Delaware State Police activity in Wild Quail has concluded. At approximately 10:10 p.m. the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team (SORT) made entry into the house and located the 49 year old male subject where he was taken into custody without incident.
The 49 year old male suffered undisclosed self-inflicted wounds and was treated by DSP SORT Medics and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation of non-life threatening injuries. Treatment and disposition are unknown at the time of this release.
Troopers continue to investigate this incident with charges pending the conclusion of the investigation.
The evacuated residents have been permitted to return to their houses.
This will be the final update tonight. Further information to be released tomorrow pending charges.
