How many million do these cost?

And we need another helicopter why? A friend of mine got a bill from a private helicopter transport from PRMC to Johns Hopkins for her son for $35,000. If the MSP won't transport all patients I can't support paying a tag fee for a new helicopter.

MSP will transport from the accident scene to the hospital. Once at the hospital private care is provided. It is not MSP responsibly to do non emergency flights.

It's not the MSP responsibility to do any flights if you really want to get technical! Where did anyone mention the flight to Hopkins was a non emergency flight? So you think the child wanted to go on a joy ride? That comment must have come from a know it all volunteer Farmin!

AMEN.MONEY well spent at last in Maryland. Praise to all those who support and fly the Md. State Police Fleet to serve us Marylanders. If you do not think new copters are needed. Just ask a friend of mine who lost his wife who was a flight doctor on copter when it crashed in rain and fog many years ago as the copter ws not outfitted as the new ones are today....SO YES MONEY WELL SPENT.
