ASSANGE SURFACES, URGES RELEASE OF 'HERO' MANNING

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange called on U.S. President Barack Obama to end a so-called "witch hunt" against his secret-spilling website, appearing in public Sunday for the first time since he took refuge two months ago inside Ecuador's Embassy in London to avoid extradition to Sweden on sex crimes allegations.

Let's keep an eye on this-it could get interesting. Assange and his team of hackers have the potential to be obama's worst nightmare.
I think this is a witch hunt also. I don't believe that kid had access to secret military files. It's just that the government doesn't want to admit how easily Assange was able to hack into goverment computers.

So, we try and throw people in jail for life for exposing the truth, and elect officials that lie while staring us in the eye. No wonder America is in the toilet.

He needs to stand trial for the rape charge or should we just let that go too. Plus his release of some of those government secrets cost some of our troops lives. I guess that's ok too.

I would like an example of that and a source.

Now if you want to talk about putting people's lives in jeopardy, let's talk about obammy leaking secrets.

9:08 don't fall for the government propaganda. All we heard was that the leaks will endanger and cost lives and that military officials were investigating and that was the end. There has been so far no evidence that this has occured, nor have we even seen evidence where it could have potentially occured.
Obama and esp the higher up govt officials are deathly afraid of Assange as he has the capability and the know how to hack into their computers and they do not know how to fix the problem. Even the FBI has admitted the govt computers are not secure.
I don't believe the rape charge and expect more trumped up charges against Assange. We are looking at a guy who has the potential to reveal more govt scandal and wrongdoing than anyone ever has been able to do.

Presidents are the ones putting our troops at risk by sending them to places where we have no business being. Like obama sending US troops to Libya. This is done so the US buys weapons from the "military industrial complex" which in turn lines the pockets with hefty campaign contributions to politicians.

The US military suppliers and defense contractors such as Lockheed, Raytheon (there are
100's) are salivating at the thought of the US sending troops to Syria. The correspondence between US officials and the supply executives would be interesting to see.
Go Julian Assange!
