Why Does The Board Of Ed Need Money?

Because they have TWO Vice Principals and ONE Principal at each summer school location, according to a source. I'll stop here and simply let the comments fly.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. Keep digging. Essentially, it's just more free day care for the entitlement generation's children.

I will tell you why summer school has vps covering it this year...because Sandra Drummond has taken over this duty and she is incompetant. Mr. Carlisle and Mr. Conway before him ran this program without the help of the vps.

There is a teacher in charge at each location and there is no need to pull vps for this duty.

Drummond needs to go as she is a waste of our taxpayer money.

Last year they opened certain school to give out free breakfast and lunches for anyone that was eligible. I wonder if they are doing that again this year?

That's the problem with most government jobs-too top heavy with the salaries to go along with it.
They will learn shortly when they have NO pensions.

Misinformed as always.

The P & VP are for the school, they are 12 month employees. While they may be assisting with some of the summer school duties, they are primarily preparing for next year.

All principal and VP positions are 12 month.

A competent summer school principal should not need two vice-principals. The 12 month vp's should be working in the schools in which they are assigned for the regular school year.If there is not enough work for them, then employ the vp's for 10 or 11 months. This saves money doesn't it.
