Don't sweat it- the Daily Crimes is about to go out of business....all Gannet newspapers are going to put up a paywall soon. You'll have to pay to read what's on the website just like the New York Times (and look how well that is working for them).
The Daily Times is DEFINITELY not. It is honestly the most inferior and most bias newspaper I have ever read. I bought it yesterday, mostly for the coupons and glanced through the Sports section where news and standings of our country's NBA was non-existent.
I vowed yesterday that I will NEVER buy the paper so many refer to as "The Daily WASTE Of Times" unless I am in desperate need for something to use while I am eating crabs & for my bird's poop in his cage.

It's not just the paper, however the paper does do local politics, even if they are wrong most of the time. The Daily Times reminds me of Gary Comegys, still opens the mouth even when they know they are wrong.
WBOC and WDMT would rather keep their heads shoved up their collective butts than touch local issues with a ten foot pole. It may upset somebody, so they pretend it just didn't happen?
Grow some cajones local media. I don't even read the free wall any longer at delmarvanow.com. Too many pop ups and BS to get to the many articles of lies that I have no interest in anyway.
Save the newspapers for prepper friends, in case they run out of toilet paper.

The media's purpose has changed..They used to be taught in journalism to report the news in an un-biased way. Now the news is mostly opinion which people take as news. We all know that facts and figures can be manipulated to show any point of view in a positive light. I laugh everytime the Daily times askes Shelton Lankford and Geoff Smoot their opinions, like they are not a known quantity

YES I do. Because SBY is the only main stream media I get my info from.
The days of Walter Cronkite are over. I don't trust anything coming from the networks. The Daily Times is a joke.

local media = ignorance, lazy and left leaning.
They only report what the government and corporations tell them to report. If you don't believe me just look at the top headlines from ABC, CBS, and NBC.
It's all the same BS. No real investigative reporting, just political spin!
WBOC seems to be mostly about Delaware and to hell with the rest of the Eastern Shore
They do a true disservice to Eastern Maryland and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It's really sad when I have to go to Baltimore News to find out what is going on in the State of MD! Reporting from Cambridge, isn't really report about the rest of the eastern shore of Maryland!
