Was he hit by a helicopter or airplane? Why the ladder truck?

Why didn't they bring the rescue boat too!!

That place is always a nightmare. People drive through the lot like maniacs.

Because the ladder truck caries extrication tools, if needed, STUPID!

Why not the ladder truck? Its got EMS supplies on it. Give it a rest about what equipment they bring to a call. Look around at other counties and at stations that dont have ambulances. They take engines, trucks and squads to medical calls because they are the closest EMS personnel to the scene

I wondered that, too, 11:52. I was told that it was a policy of the FD to send a truck to all calls, inc. ambulance calls. Seems a waster of firemen's time, not to mention the cost of gas to run of those trucks. At any rate, I hope that the victim is okay.

That is certainly a more important question than, "Is the victim OK?"

Hmmmm, maybe the truck was enroute back from another call and happened to be the closest unit. Too many questions to question. If it was me hit by a car, I wouldn't give a rats A$$ what showed up and long as it did and neither should you.

The old people that frequent Giant in the daytime hours are generally horrible drivers. I avoid the place until the evening if I can. Once I saw somebody back up and hit a parked car three times. Asked the driver if they "needed help" to try and guage their mental facilities and they declined. So i called the police to report the driver and found the car owner inside the store.
