State Police Detectives Investigating Home Invasion

Location: 8000 block of Nylon Avenue, Seaford, DE

Date of Occurrence: Tuesday November 15, 2011 at approximately 10:15 p.m.

Victim:
26 year old Seaford, DE woman (resident)

Suspect:
2 black males (no further details)

Resume:
Seaford, DE- Delaware State Police are actively looking into a home invasion that took place late Tuesday evening in Seaford.

On Tuesday November 15th at approximately 10:15 p.m., Troopers responded to the 8000 block of Nylon Avenue, Seaford after a roommate of a 26 year old female victim alerted 9-1-1 dispatchers she had been held at gunpoint. The investigation revealed two black males entered the residence through the front door brandishing handguns and wearing disguises. The suspects then pointed a gun at the female’s head while they taped her mouth and hands. The suspects demanded money from the victim and made off with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and two cell phones. The suspects then fled the residence in an unknown direction.

The victim was uninjured in this case.
