WASHINGTON -- As a leading Senate Democrat prepares for hearings this week on repealing the federal law that defines marriage as between a man and a woman, the White House on Tuesday threw its support to overturning the Defense of Marriage Act.
The Obama administration has already said it won't defend the Defense of Marriage Act in court because it concludes it's unconstitutional. But Press Secretary Jay Carney on Tuesday went further, saying President Obama is "proud to support" the Respect for Marriage Act, legislation by Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., to overturn the 15-year-old law.

Not too surprising. This is just one more example of how Obama is quickly turning our country into one which is becoming unrecognizable. Today marks 2 1/2 years that he has been in office. Can we take another 1 1/2?
Yes, because 2 dudes wanting to get married might throw the world economy into recession, provoke a war on terrorism, and drive up the cost of healthcare.

Danny boy, my point is that when the economy finishes tanking because our big cheese is worried about other lighter matters and the USA's streets look like Greece's streets full of rioting and mayhem, the issue of whether you can marry Don and live happy and cozy together really becomes a moot point. Please rearrange your priorities here.
