Everything is lined up for the offices of convicted rapist Dr. Earl Bradley to be razed to the ground. All that’s needed is the go-ahead from the property owners.
Millsboro contractor Harry Caswell of Harry Caswell Plumbing and Mechanical said he has the equipment, manpower and support he needs to take the former BayBees Pediatrics buildings down. Caswell has volunteered to do the job for free, at his own expense if necessary. Everyone, from Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf, D-Rehoboth Beach, and Rusty Rudder owner Alex Pires to Grand Rental Station and a host of dumpster companies have volunteered money, dumpsters and materials for the work of taking down the buildings and then transporting and dumping the remains.
Caswell said he is also trying to work with the state on removing what’s left of Bradley’s personal effects at the property. By filing a racketeering suit against Bradley, the state was able to put a lien on whatever personal property Bradley had at the site.
