Developers of Deep Valley Farm, a subdivision near Five Points, moved a step closer to reality after receiving preliminary approval on a revised plan from the county’s planning and zoning commission.
The commission voted for approval at its June 23 meeting.
Developer Cedar Creek Properties LLC was able to revert to its original plan with 192 lots on 88 acres following a decision by transportation officials to release a section of property taken by the Delaware Department of Transportation for road realignment. Seven lots were removed from the plan, which was approved July 15, 2009.
