THIS is why I read SbyNews... AND why I will continue to do so. Didn't read this anywhere else.
I have two computers at my desk, a television and a radio on in different parts of the office, and a smart phone. This isn't reported anywhere but here right now!

Joe, thank you, thank you!!! You are the best. I am just on my way to my car on Mt. Hermon Road very very near B & J. Your posts keep us informed and this is so important in today's environment. We can never thank you enough. Barb

thats sad that store is locally owned and operated, im really surprised they got out alive cuz the old man who owns it packs a big punch....

I'm the daughter of that "old man" and I can tell you - I agree 100%. I think it was my brother at the register when the robbery took place. Still very sad.....

5:20, and it could have been Mr Ruark they were called for. There is no amount of money worth a life. As some one that knows that family and employees there are better people to deal with. I am so glad oneone was hurt, yet very sorry that this has happened.

mp50!!! i meant mr ruark would have blasted the perpetrators into infinieon as he did when the hearn garage across the street was being broke into years ago. of course things were handled alot different back then in america.alot of local forklore surrounding that store and the brick hearn house on the corner of mt hermaon and walston switch. just ask mr brown who owns the store now

Boy I just read what I wrote last night. I guess nighttime isn't my smart time. What I wanted to say was "there are NO better people to deal with and I am so glad NO ONE was hurt" Sorry B & J, I do love you all.

No matter whom was running the store or whom owns the store.. i believe bobby did the right thing. if he had not giving him the money you never know who could of died. My mother was also there and if anything ever happend to her i wouldnt know wat to do. its not worth losing a life. for wat? dont judge a situation you've never been put in.
WE LOVE B&J

I Believe until you are put in that situation its hard for anyone to say what they would of done. Money can be replaced but lives can not.I would like to say thanks to Bobby for handling it the way he did this way no one gets hurt and thanks to all of our customers who stopped in or called to make sure we were all ok.
