Leggs lawyers tried to have many discovery motions dismissed and even went so far as to claim there was a conspiracy by the States Attorneys Office, FBI, MSP and another lab that evidence was tainted and an attempt to hide such tainted evidence was being done by all parties involved.
Plain and simple, the Judge wasn't having any of it. He came back and stated no one was trying to hide any evidence or information and that everything had been done in Good Faith by all parties.
Suppression hearings continue today and should be completed by the end of the day. Salisbury News has tried to be involved in every part of this case since the very beginning. These hearings were extremely important as well as detailed and out of respect for the Family and the case itself, I have my 8 pages of notes from yesterday's trial hearings and I will retain them until the completion of the Leggs trial.
It should be known that I left very early yesterday morning for these hearings and I will be doing the same today. While I do not expect the hearing to last as long today as it did yesterday, we are doing our very best to keep things current for your convenience. That means I'm plugging away starting at 5 AM for current information and staying up late at night to keep Posts flowing for the day. In fact, today I'll be publishing information every 15 minutes throughout the day instead of every 5 minutes.
So sit tight for one more day and we'll be back to normal very soon. Once again, news and information you can only read on Salisbury News.

I understand you want to respect the family but if you are a real journalist you will give the details of what this monster did. Maybe it would make a mother do some checking before dating dirtbags like this.

I do think society's increasing feelings on "total entitlement" have gone a bit too far. As a mother of little kids, what details I accidentally overheard of the case sickened me and left a disturbing vision in my head. Use your imagination, you know what happened to her. To print a blow by blow detailed account because WE NEED TO KNOW, is disrespectful to her family and to her memory. No, you DON'T need to know. You want to know that bad, go read the case files. Joe, please consider my words when you do update us on and recount the trial. True, I don't have to read what you write but others will and rumors, true or not will flood the county, DISHONORING the family and Sarahs memory.

12:02 - Actually this is the only place that has updated anyone about whats going on in the trial. WBOC hasn't posted anything, except that the trial was beginning in January. Although this post only gave minimal information, atleast its something. People in this county have been following this case since the murder happened, so of course people wanna know what happening. Call it nosey or whatever, I call it support from the community. People didn't search through the snow in the freezing cold on christmas day for being "nosey".
Anyhow, I assume your comment was only left to bash Albero in any way possible. Do everyone a favor and stay off HIS blog if you don't like it, nobody cares to read what you comment.

I do not want to hear any of the gory details, I just want this trial to be over so poor Sarahs soul can rest. Who cares how this animal brutalized her?
Alot of balls were dropped that allowed this precious girl to be victimized which I will not go into but Ultimately it is Leggs and Leggs alone who is at fault however and I hope the dirty bum fries in Hell.
The truth is , he is guilty, and he needs to be put to death. There is absolutely no reason to have a trial. He needs to be hung or punished until he dies, like he did to Sarah. He is a waste of breath. He has cost the taxpayers of Maryland more than he is worth in the past 12 months. Now we have to keep that worthless piece of trash alive for the rest of his life. Put him general population, and let them take care of him. He won't last long.

He has issues with Sarah's mom but they overcame their differences and both are fighting for justice for Sarah.
Many in the community want to know what happens to this monster. As a community we gave our hearts and time for this beautiful angel. We care what happens. No we dont necessarily want to hear the grousome details but we do want to know what he has to say and to know that justice is served.
Thanks Joe for doing a great job for this community even against those ignorant actions and threats against you and your family. Bless Sarah and her family.

Amen 8:58 & 9:09 I have a twelve year old daughter myself that was friends with Sarah. She has a couple of her school papers hanging in her room and a note posted in our kitchen that says friends forever never forgotten. I don't think it will do anyone any good to hear all the details on how Sarah was tortured before she died. It will not change anything. I don't think there is a punishment out there that would be to harsh for animals like him. I think whatever he did to Sarah is what should be done to him but 100 times over. God bless Sarah and her family. From a mom that still aches for my daughters pain for what this man took form all of us. I can't imagine the pain her family feels.
