Newark- The incident occurred on Saturday evening at approximately 6:27 p.m. as Troopers responded to the parking lot of the Sears Outlet 500 Eagle Run Road Newark, DE for a report of an infant left alone in a vehicle with the engine running. Upon arrival, Troopers located the car and observed the 4 month old infant locked inside with the engine running. At approximately 6:50 p.m. the infant’s Father, William Moultrie, 40, of Newark, returned to the car where he stated that he was returning an item, and thought it was only going to take 5 minutes. Troopers estimated that the 4 month old infant was left alone for at least 25 minutes in the vehicle.
William Moultrie was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned and released on $200.00 Unsecured Bond.
The Division of Family Services was contacted and the infant was turned over to a relative.

$200.00 unsecured bond? wow! Thats the issue. These commissioners are working against the police and creating and promoting more criminal activity.

1:07, I hate to say it, but you are an idiot. I think that the commissioner probably looked at the situation, looked at the guy's record, if he had one, and then made a judgement. Was the dude in the wrong, absolutely, and I'm not defending him, but I would think that the commissioner made a judgement call. I personally think it should have been more than a couple of hundred bucks, and if it had been me making that call, I would have made it a lot higher.
Also, he did leave the car running and presumably locked, and probably had proof that he was making a return, so that may have played a role in the decision. CPS will do a full investigation of the incident, and will decide if the child should go back to the father.
It is these stupid people like this who are STUNNED when their car is stolen and their child comes up missing. Really???

People are stupid. People are idiots. I'm not sure if you realize this but, when you label others with these derogatory labels, it comes across as you being the stupid idiots.
A lot of you need to learn to express your ideas and opinions with using personal attacks.
