Yes, I'm sure the headline accurately reflects the scenario. Why is it so hard for people from both sides to stick to the facts?
I hope you can keep us posted on the outcome of this Joe. I don't see why he was arrested. Yes the security personal asked him to take down the sign, but why? He wasn't asking for money or selling anything. cj

Those two fat dudes would of had a bad day if I was there, and that cop well when that ever stopped me before.

I guess that now it is a crime to exhibit free speech, freedom to assemble, or do anything to criticize the "Dear Leader." If you do criticize the "Dear Leader," you will be arrested and jailed. The problem is, you will never see the ACLU take up this gentleman's case. This guy had the courage to stand up and say what he felt. I just wish other people would have stepped in and helped and supported him.
One thing I did notice, was as the crowd was dispersing after the guy had been arrested and carted off, was that there was a family with young children walking off. I hope those parents tell their kids that what the cops did to that man was wrong, and that they should always stand up for those things that they feel strongly about.

Free speech is dead when WE THE PEOPLE allow thugs like this to control us like that! I may not totally agree with the man yelling but they had no cause to detain him for that. All I've got to say is I'm glad I was not the guy with the walking stick I may have been tempted to wear it out on the security people.

Yep, the cops cant touch in Alaska for a firearm. They have to let you leave with it, dangerous place to be a cop.

I guess i would believe that two if I fail for every hit job article and smear tactic that came out. It is YOU PEOPLE, who constantly fall for this crap (whether dem or rep.) that are dividing this country.
The fair had private security on hand who made the decision to take this guy down. Not any kind of federal Obama henchman. And with all the shootings (VT, D.C. sniper, Columbine, Silver Spring) I would throw the bum out of this family function, where I'm just trying to enjoy a day out with my kids too.
Guess what. This country that you guys claim to love so much has free and fair elections. Conservatives won many of those elections from 98-2008. Apparently they did something wrong and the American people decided to go in a new direction in 08'. Big Deal. We would elect much more effective leaders and see more sound legislation inacted if you would stop trying to demonize everyone and actual research facts before forming opinions. I'm just plan sick of all the bull coming out of you guys on the far right and left. Most of if is only half true and when implemented digs us further into the hole.
