The Daily Times Just Can't Stay Away From Using Our Name

"SALISBURY NEWS": Free STEM Saturday classes offered for grades 4-8

SALISBURY --- Students who want to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) topics and careers should check out the STEM Saturdays classes that will be offered free of charge during the 2010-11 school year.

If you've ever wondered why the Daily Times regularly uses "SALISBURY NEWS" in most of their on line articles, its because they need to do something to try to keep up with this Website. Salisbury News has surpassed their daily circulation by a long shot and they need to use our name in order to capture as many people as possible, even if it means misleading their viewers.

After 6 years of competing with them, last year they went and captured "Salisbury News" on Twitter, so I captured Delmarva Now, that's how stupid they are.

Newspapers are failing, that's all there is to it. While I don't want the Daily Times to disappear, Salisbury News will be providing new features in January 2011 that will severely add additional competition once again that will put yet another financial hurting on their newspaper. You'll have even less reason to purchase a newspaper every day.

Our news is delivered in real time and our investigative reporting and political interviews proves we can and will provide a better service to this community for FREE.

2011 is just around the corner and it could prove to be the final year you'll see the Daily Times in print.

Joe, your are absolutey correct, and when the NY Daily News is making statements that they are moving away from daily circulations (my wife is from the Bronx - just returned from there last week from a visit which is how I found out about this), what does that say about the rag we have here? Although I don't agree with everything put out by Salisbury News, it is without a doubt much more timely, engaging and to be sure, relevant to the readership than anything around!
