The Fruitland Police Department is investigating the following shooting:

On 9-24-10 approx 2212 hrs a Patrol Officer of the Fruitland Police Dept. heard what appeared to be numerous gun shots in the area of Poplar Street, Fruitland , Within moments, several 911 calls were placed related to a shooting. Police and EMS contacted the victim who was identified as Jazmen Dale. Victim had suffered a single gunshot wound to her leg. Dale was transported to PRMC where she was treated and released.

Suspect vehicle was described as a full size pick up truck, older model, ash gray or white in color. Shooter described as a black male, close cut hair in his twenties.
