Joe, I had a great time today ringing the bells in the Mall outside of the Sears entrance. Met so many nice people. What I enjoyed the most were the children. They got excited about being able to put the money in the bucket. Several people reached inside their pockets and/or pocketbooks to find they only had large bills so they'd promise to return when they had change. Every single one of them did return and each one donated bills, not coins. I hope I'll have another chance to volunteer before I leave for my trip to Florida. I'm tired tonight which is a combination from this mornings fundraiser at Applebee's followed by the Salvation Army.
Thanks to everyone who came to Applebee's this morning. We had a great turn out thanks to everyone who helped out and who came to eat. A special thank you to Applebee's!
