While I appreciate all that the Salvation does, I am truly sorry to say I will not be able to paticipate due to recent back surgery...However, I was thrilled when my 7yr old came home from school (Northwestern Elementary) with an adorable little house shaped box for collection of money to help our precious ones that need the Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, and so on. My child & I will be sure to fill that little house. And in doing so it has not one but two purposess...Help the Salvation Army in thier quest and more importantly, to teach my son the joy and love for others through his efforts. May the Lord be with those in need.
