The Baltimore Police Department has arrested and charged the two remaining suspects in the July robbery and brutal assault of a police lab technician.

On Aug. 6, detectives from the Regional Auto Theft Task Force arrested a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy in connection with the robbery and assault of the 59-year-old civilian police employee.

The boy and girl were arrested in the 400 block of Wellesley Street in the 59-year-old man's car, police say.

Both the boy and girl were transported to the juvenile booking facility and charged with robbery and assault.

On July 24, the 59-year-old man was walking in the unit block of Albemarle Street around 6 a.m. when he was approached by three teens.
