Trump says he supports making daylight saving time permanent

A day after most of the country turned their clocks forward, President Donald Trump on Monday morning threw his support behind the push to permanently change to daylight saving time.

"Making Daylight Saving Time permanent is O.K. with me!" Trump tweeted.

State legislatures across the nation are considering eliminating the practice of changing the clocks twice a year, calling it confusing and ineffective. The practice was originally intended to increase the number of sunlit hours during the workday, but research suggests it actually decreases productivity.

Some parts of the U.S. already choose not to observe daylight saving, including Hawaii and large swaths of Arizona. Meanwhile, three lawmakers from Florida, Republican Sens. Rick Scott and Marco Rubio along with Republican Rep. Vern Buchanan, introduced the Sunshine Protection Act to make daylight saving permanent.

Today, you really don't need to legislate a clock and most elected officials don't know how to anyway. Sure, some under the table exchange of money resulted in NO street lights in Ocean Pines during its creation but most are used to that now too.

Make it happen of simply change your business schedule (never to be changed again).

It's a no-brainer...

Let's be real. Nellie's paycheck was directed to her husband. It was never hidden.

Has Ohr started HIS book tour yet?

I've been saying the same things for years. I always hate it when we go back to "standard" time. Early darkness sucks, amplified by the rollback to standard time in the fall, and contributes to depression in the winter months, especially those with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Later morning darkness is preferred by most, over early darkness.
