Civic center is long OVERDUE upgrades.
I would be willing to bet they didn't get enough tickets sold, so the band backed out!
It's a shame those people stood in line for over and hour then to find out it was cancelled, poor management on the behalf of the County and the Civic Center Staff. Reminds me of the Happy Timers collecting dues for nothing services.

Don’t cover up for Alcoholic Bob....ceiling tiles is a maintenance issue that he doesn’t follow up on!!! Total lack of leadership!
I’m calling BS on this... why didn’t anyone from the civic center come out until an hour after the show was to start? Then finally they get the info from a cop and not Management? Something went seriously wrong and they don’t want to admit it!
So they call in the county Gestapo to handle a unruly crowd of senior citizens. If this had happened with a Rap concert there would have been riots in the streets. Better yet if it had happened at a wrestling match it would have been major whoop ass.
Aren't they all like in Walkers and Wheelchairs? They got to be about 75 or 80 years old. Weren't the Jersey Boys popular in the 50's, so they are really really old.
The hamsters running the e!ectric went on strike.

You have poor leadership in 3 roles to the tune of almost two hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year.Damage control has to be controlled by the Executive office.This is what happens when you appoint a Program Director to the top spot.The second in charge goes on vacation every time a auditor walks thru the door and brain dead Chuck just follows whoever to keep getting his fat check.Constant turnover in employees and no applicants and the word is out beware of the civic center.
Why do you hate old people.
And that's not to even mention the Executive's band of smurfs
