The shooter is still on the loose. Police haven't released much information, other than the name and description of a "person of interest," according to CBS.
CMU police confirm two individuals were fatally shot at Campbell Hall on campus this morning. The deceased are not students and police believe the situation started from a domestic situation. There are no additional injuries; suspect is still at large: cmich.ly/2oKPfEb
Police identified James Eric Davis Jr. as a person of interest: He's black, around 19 years old and 10 inches and 135 lbs.

Here's my solution to this problem in every education facilty we install gun safe in strageric loctions. combinations available and changed frequently and only available to small group of trained willing staff teachers, and possibly even students. Start gun clubs whatever. These guns are checked daily for security, locked, combo changes & guns are never touched until you have no other choice. principle office, gym teacher. Special room whatever..install metal dectectors. No armed cops. Volenteers, military retired,off duty cops. Hey bonehead libtards it is for the KIDS this time.

Killed his parents when they came to take him back to the dorm from the hospital, after he overdosed on drugs. His dad was a cop. Beautiful family, dad at home, and he still turned out to be a thug with a gun. We blame the fact that there are so many thugs on the street on single parent homes with no father in the house. This is an example where a good two parent family ended up with a drug using, gun toting thug for a son. It's sad, but I've seen a well respected black educator here on the shore end up with a son that was still living at home and the son was arrested with a gun with the serial number removed. Homes without fathers is not always the answer to homes with thugs in them. There are some serious cultural problems beyond absent fathers and welfare mothers.
