PLEASE!!!!! Be carful when walking through the Salisbury City Park as my fianace was jumped around 12:30 today in broad daylight by three grown men!! If you happen to hear or know anything please let me know thank you!! Be safe

I don't care what I may need I will drive to Dover, Easton or Annapolis before I would go to Salisbury to get It! I am dead serious about that.

Once again Jake does not see a change that needs to be made bc he wants Barbs to bring in the votes for reelection. The problem is she is bringing him down along with all the other issues. He will never be elected to any office or position now we know who he is. Why he refuses to make a change is baffling. Jake do something right before you are ousted and before someone gets seriously hurt on your watch. You know what needs to be done. Do it.

Can we agree that money needs to be used for cameras instead of bike lanes, festivals, and such. No let’s add more bats, section 8, and bring large crowds to an already crazy location that we can’t control crime in. SMH

It’s a free frigging world there should be an expectation that you could go to the park on your lunch hour to take a walk and get some exercise without the “thugs of Salisbury” jumping you.
I insist on accompanying my daughters/grandkids to even the Zoo and that's a no exceptions rule! I'm no Bruce Lee but me and my 12 friends inside my waistband are a well trained team. It is easier to become an astronaut than get a CC permit in MD. My record is perfectly clean and I don't qualify for a CC permit.

That said, I called the city police and the man I spoke with told me there was NO report of this. I called the day after you posted this on the blog.
He did say they had a complaint 2 weeks earlier. I don't believe what I was told, but how can I prove he's not being truthful?
When you post these stories; I believe ALL on this blog should call the authorities, including the Mayor, and complain. Phone calls en mass WILL make a difference. If they realize they are being 'watched'...just a thought.
I walk the park a lot and enjoy doing so. I carry a Taser, seems like anyone but law abiding citizens carry can firearms.
I carry spray for dogs. I now carry spray for thugs.

It's gonna be fun to hear about all the roberies when the festival gets to town.I don't want to see anybody get hurt but I can't to see how the TV and local paper report on the festival.The thugs are gonna have a field day.
There was police report with a full description of each suspect appearing in it. First, I can't believe that someone (9:42) would call the PD to ask about a random incident and second, I can't believe that some man told you there wasn't a report, but a complaint 2 weeks earlier. None of that makes sense. Sorry. I think it's pretty stupid for everyone to trash the chief and all the officers for not doing their job. You can't have a babysitter with a badge on every corner, in every store, in all parts of the park, etc. 24/7. How about we hold the real people accountable...the ones who commit the crimes. Or is that too much to ask? How about you raise your children right? How about you man up and talk to the PO-PO about problems you know exist, before these problems rob someone? Quit trying to find someone to blame, because our society has created these issues.
