Woman killed in drive-by shooting while cooking Thanksgiving dinner

An Ohio woman was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting while cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen, according to a report.

Adrian Scott, 34, was shot just before 1 p.m. Thursday inside a home in Columbus, police said. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Scott was standing at the kitchen table while preparing macaroni and cheese when the gunfire occurred, a man who identified himself as the uncle of Scott’s boyfriend told the Columbus Dispatch.
