Despite how fast the cop was driving, I bet this gets blamed on the pedestrian.

They don't have the right way when they dart into traffic.

I think you all mean right of way. LOL

One is responsible for driving in such a manner as to be in control and able to stop or slow down to avoid a collision including pedestrians in the roadway.

Read much, it was a state trooper! Pedestrians have the right of way in a cross walk when available. But when you dart out in the middle of block what do you expect.

Its a mess down here tonite with the classic cars. The noise is horrific...just as bad if not worse than the h20 thing last weekend. Revving engines, speeding, squealing tires at lights. How long is it going to take before the mayor gets his head out of his financial a** and put a stop to sanctioning these events. I know we local year rounders beat a path to his door after last weekend. Um Rick, we coming to see you again. I have friends who live in resorts and they NEVER have to put up with this. So dont tell me this is what you must live with if you live in a resort town. My property taxes haven't gone down so no, this does NOT bring money to the town. It brings money to the greedy local business owners.
