Salisbury City Council Vice President Apologizes To Executive Culver

Muir Boda 17 hrs · Salisbury · Bob Culver I wanted to take a moment and apologize for my actions and comments this past Monday evening at the Salisbury City Council work session. My comments were unprofessional and failed to recognize and afford you the respect of the Office of County Executive. I appreciate all that you do in your role as County Executive and most certainly appreciate your efforts on Monday to assist our residents who were affected by the tornado and storm damage. I will also post this message publicly, since the meeting was in open session. Thanks for your service and time. Muir W. Boda Vice President Salisbury City Council

While this is a nice approach, it should read, I apologize, PLEASE FORGIVE ME. Especially in a public statement. That is how I do it, how about you?

That must have been one kind of a work session, but I admire someone who asks for forgiveness and admits wrong, you are rare.

It takes a big man to admit he made a mistake and apologizes.
I respect a person who admits their mistakes and then moves on.
Looks like he took the high road and did the honorable thing.

Thank goodness at least one of them apologized! However, everyone should watch that session. It was the first I watched and I am still in shock! They were the most unprofessional bunch! What is with everyone trying to I've talk each other? If I were Susan Phillips then I'd fire Theo Williams. He was extremely disrespectful to his boss!

That was supposed to be "what is with everyone trying to over talk*** each other"

Maybe it's time for Boda to step down if he can't act professionally. If you act that way in a business setting, it wouldn't take long for your butt to be removed.

What? Happened?

10:13, I didn't see it but I've stopped watching some shows on FOX because of each talking over one another.

And what was with Ireton texting throughout the meeting. Saw some very unprofessional behavior and they should be extremely embarrased

Well it's clear that bunch will refuse to work with the others in that agreement as it states the way they acted live . It's states of they can't work together the agreement can be pulled at anytime

I didn't see where asked for forgiveness, all I saw was "I apologize." Typical stupid Democrat.

If I thought it was ingenuous, I'd be impressed but I don't. All the city council and mayor have little respect for the executive. No mystery in it. So whatever. Muir did this because he was caught on video acting like an idiot and realized one day he's going to have a re-election. Nothing more. I watched the whole interchange and the whole group could stand being let go. They don't represent Salisbury well at all.

I saw the whole meeting as well; what a bunch of cronies more like high school retards club. Julia Glantz is just an obvious go-along with nothing to bring to the table, Jimbo is a child and Jamey was only there for a fifth of the meeting. WTF? This was nothing but a clown show. Salisbury deserves better, or do they? After all, they either voted for these clowns or allowed these clowns to vote themselves in.

Either way, losers all.

I watched this "meeting" of childish snide comments, furtive glances and just plain inappropriate behavior. And just what does Julia Glantz do? Has she ever done anything but listen to the others and snicker at their comments? She brings NOTHING to the table. We have a City run by children who will stomp and cry to get their way.

Piteous.

This may be all for naught considering Salisbury is working on an illegal budget. Any day now all services could be pulled because the town won't be able to pay them due to their budget being done in a duplicitous manner. Of course, you people aren't going to worry about that bridge until it's on you so nothing to see with this fire department situation. Just a lot of infighting and people creating a bunch of drama for no reason.

I just watched the video of the fire service agreement where Jake, Muir and Jim were bad mouthing the County Executive and the Station 13 volunteers.

Not only that Jim Ireton was on his cell phone text messaging the entire time.

Then I looked at April Jackson and she was text messaging the entire time.

Then I notice Julia Glanz and Jake Day were whispering, giggleing and talking the whole time.

Then the department heads were laughing and giggling at negative comments about Bob Culver.

Then I say Andy Kitzrow on his tablet, whispering, giggleing and talking the whole time.

That was a very disorderly meeting put on by the city council.

That Douche Bag Muir Boda obviously can't run a meeting properly.
