Karma Is A Biotch

And someone made a comment they would have lots of leftovers......

Just a sneak peek of today's BBQ chicken. Originally planned on selling 200 platters today. Well, we sold out, used some of tomorrow's inventory, and sold 350 platters. Don't worry though, we picked up more chicken today and will be out grilling first thing tomorrow morning. Thank you for the support and the donations that many people made. It was great to meet so many people from the community. We don't want you to meet us the first time when it's an emergency. We want to provide you with prevention and education before the emergency. If you could not make it out today, hopefully we will see you tomorrow. 11am until we sell out. Stop by and see us at 800 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury. Where you will actually be happy to pull up and see "smoke showing". We sold out fast today, so come early. $8 platter includes a chicken halve, pickle slice, roll, and a bag of chips. See you there!!!!

That's one nice cooker/ smoker! Mine was to die for, very good! Glad you found double the support you were looking for! I kind of thought you would.

Plenty of people in this County are on your side.

The pid guys? Not so much!

You can purchase a whole cooked chicken at Sam's for $4.98! The BBQ chicken at most of these places are either under cooked (raw) or overcooked. Use to get beans and potato salad, now just a pickle and chips. No a good price for the money $8.00.

Sold out early both days. had returns the second day. Chicken was moist not dry. $8.00 is what all BBQ's are. I returned and seen few more returnees. stated they were planning on through the summer hoping till Sept.. did a great job for their first venture in BBQ. all those criticizing stay home and detour away to cut down on traffic so we can get there easier.

Why would anyone NOT support people who are VOLUNTEERING to protect us? I, for one, can't afford to pay more taxes to pay for salaried firemen to make lunch stops all over town in very expensive equipment. God Bless those willing to VOLUNTEER!

The chicken was perfect.

Give them credit for getting off their butts and working to raise funding. Use to be all Fire Companies would do Fund Raisers. through out the year. Not so much anymore, unless you count standing at a stop light with boot in hand. If you didn't stop and buy some B B Q, it is your loss. That was some mighty fine chicken. Bought two Saturday and told them to keep the change from a 20. That wasn't much of a donation I guess, but every penny helps. Thanks guys - see you next week end.

P.S. The price was fair I thought. You Negative Nellys need to stop raping these guys with viscous words, put down your fingers, get off your butts, stop wasting time telling them what they do wrong and and show them how you, as the professional bird cooker, do it right.
