The Obama administration has investigated a reporter with Fox News as a probable "co-conspirator" in a criminal spying case after a report based on a State Department leak.

The Justice Department named Fox News's chief Washington correspondent James Rosen "at the very least, either as an aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator" in a 2010 espionage case against State Department security adviser Stephen Jin-Woo Kim. The accusation appears in a court affidavit first reported by the Washington Post.

Kim is charged with handing over a classified government report in June 2009 that said North Korea would probably test a nuclear weapon in response to a UN resolution condemning previous tests. Rosen reported the analysis on 11 June under the headline 'North Korea Intends to Match UN Resolution With New Nuclear Test'.

The FBI sought and obtained a warrant to seize all of Rosen's correspondencewith Kim, and an additional two days' worth of Rosen's personal email, the Post reported. The bureau also obtained Rosen's phone records and used security badge records to track his movements to and from the State Department.

Seems using the DOJ as a way to harass people they don't agree with is a common thread with Obama's administration. No wonder people like Mark Levin says this is an affront to all Americans.

This should concern everyone. This is proof there's no discriminating factor for government abusing its power to molest citizens.

Now that we have to prove intent, thanks to James Comey, this goes far in proving it! There's a history of this type of activity by the Obama gang. Time they're all brought to justice.

Trump needs to pursue the investigations promised. Much proof has probably been destroyed but people need to be behind bars for abusing their power.

Add the IRS in any investigating. Remember "the 5th" Lois Lerner?

FOX News is mostly on the side of the good guys, but occasionally they mess up. We should continue to support them, though.

Rosen was just given information and reported on it. It was Jin Woo Kim who used his security clearance illegally. Rosen just did his job.

And what is the difference between Rosen reporting on what he was given vs the NYT reporting on the leaks of classified info they are given?

The ONLY difference is who it makes mad and what they do about it.

8:04, you are so stupid! Let me explain the difference...its the person who leaked the information who should be prosecuted by their government (and other than what's going on in the US under the control of Obama and Clinton,, usually is). CORRUPTION and TREASON!
