The following message came from my Wife, posted on her Facebook page. So well said Jennifer, thank you.
This is not a post about sorrow, even though we're so very sad. We lost an awesome family member today. Gavin's little cow dog Beatrice went over the Rainbow Bridge today.
And while we're devastated that our time with her was so short, she made a big impression on our lives. We adopted her at the ripe old age of 9. She wasn't a cute spunky puppy, she was a little old lady who snored loudly when she slept, passed horrible gas when you least expected it, demanded to sleep in bed with someone at night or she'd bark until she was lifted up in bed, snuggled wonderfully and was so overly animated when she smelled food cooking, that she was comical! She was a wonderful girl and we're going to miss her terribly....please consider adopting those not perfect but completely lovable old ladies and men. Your life will be forever changed for the better.... RIP Beatrice

RIP, Beatrice. You were your own dog, and loved by all. You always demanded your space be just so! Good dog. We'll miss you.
So sorry. Grieve for a month and then go get another one!
Thoughts are with the three of you.K
Your brother is thinking about you ... Pop pop Tommy is to ! Your uncle Jason and aunt Kelly love you !!!!! Thanks joe for the adoption !
Joe, Sorry for your loss.Condolences and prayers to you and your family.
9:21, I have never been able, nor would I try to replace one,but have "filled the vacancy" same day or within a short time.
For me, they are never really mine, but gifts on loan from God.And as difficult and painful as it is to let them go,God has always blessed me with another one.
That you took this girl in after her imprisonment in a puppy mill says volumes about how you feel about your dogs. She was lucky to have found the loving home that you gave her.
So very sorry , Gavin, Jennifer, and Joe. Rest in peace Beatrice!
So very sorry for your loss.
She wasn't a puppy mill dog, she was at Ali Oop rescue on the western shore. An English Toy Spaniel that was a finished champion and just a joy to include in the family.
Aww....so sorry! Thank you for giving her a home and loving her. :-)
My prayers are with you and your family she sure was special all dogs and cats deserve a forever home, and those that haven't been rewarded yet I hope they all get homes soon.
They all have a "Special Place " in our hearts.
that's why they can't ever be replaced . .
I believe another "Rescue" will be appearing
at your house-----when you're ready . Only.
an owners know that right time.
Whenever that should occur------you will find
another space in your heart for that one too!.
Sooo hard to loose them but know you gave them
the very best they could have ever had & they
in turn loved you unconditionally.
ew
Our pets are our family and it hurts when any of them leave us. RIP Beatrice!
