A Comment Worthy Of A Post 9-29-16 NOT TRUE (See Comments)

What's funny about this whole situation is that the Pittsville, Parsonsburg, Delmar, Hebron and Fruitland Fire Departments ran most of the calls for the Salisbury Fire Department all night long. Then the left and had to come back into Salisbury.

Now if someone would be kind enough to let our County Executive know how the Volunteer Fire Companies in the County had to bail out(no pun intended) the City of Salisbury out again. The County handled hundreds of calls for the City last night. Now tell me again how much Wicomico County owes Salisbury with this fire service agreement? How about the City of Salisbury pony up the money for all these calls that were handled by the Wicomico County Fire Companies.

I'm sorry but this is just not true. I posted all the calls that SFD handled last night/early this morning. If they posted it on twitter they handled the call. It was not until they had the garage fire that they needed a bit of help. Count the calls I posted. They received about 30 calls in about 3 hours. Fruitland did assist them with the evacuation of Canal Woods apartment which happened at about the same time as the garage fire. Parsonsburg at one point was dealing with a large tree across the roadway and into the power lines on Walston Switch Road after they finished a call for a fire at the Perdue plant on Zion Church Road. Pittsville was called to Salisbury once but the call was canceled. Powellville was assisting Snow Hill on a fire. Hebron responded to a structure fire on White Lowe Road and was called to assist on Willow Street at some point because SFD was dealing with the Garage fire. Delmar did respond and assist with the garage fire.
To the person that wrote this clearly you have a vendetta with the SFD.
