Who Agrees?

Great idea. There are lots of us who give our kids way too much stuff that they want. I'm for paring down those numbers to gifts that have more practical uses and those that are appreciated more and longer.

That's what I am getting my kid. A tee shirt with a Raven's logo. He wants it, he needs it to stay warm, he can wear it and he can read Ravens on it before he puts it on. If I find a job by Christmas I may step it up to a sweatshirt. Thank You. I am off to the soup kitchen.

That's what all the kids in my family got growing up. And I am not that old. My parents refused to let the commercialism of Christmas affect our household. Why should people go overboard with presents? After all, the Holiday is not about us, it's the celebration of Christ!!
