If they get $150,000, in that neighborhood, they should run with it.

Rear deck ? sounds suspicious.

Way too many people do BBQ on their decks with the grill within a couple feet of a wall or fence, way too close to the structure for safety. This is the #1 cause of structure fires related to gas grills.

11:14 you are ignorant.

This was a beautiful home. An oasis in the garbage pit. They always had it landscaped and big hanging planters on the porch with flowers and ferns.

Sad to see it damaged, as the owners obviously had pride in their property.

hope they let it burn

This was a beautiful home and the Salisbury Fire Department totally destroyed it. It was one of the best kept homes on Church Street.

What a shame to see this house burn to the ground. Now it has to be razed. Thanks Salisbury Fire Department.

There were fire Departments from Wicomico County and Sussex County Delaware at the scene. Worcester County had units standing by in Wicomico County.

Actually the fire destroyed it I think. Who cares as long as everyone is ok. Thats what insurance is for.

Who barbeques at 1:46 AM?

It was my aunt & uncle's house until they were killed right out front by someone who ran a red light. We have any memories there prior to living here. It was a GRAND old house. It's always a mistake to barbecue in a porch or closed in area. It's a sad day.

I see where Assistant Chief 1 The Crash Dummy is back on duty in Salisbury. Wonder how long it will take before he crashes again.

7:17 AM I remember very well about the accident right at that intersection. I couldn't remember the second fatality but I remembered the one and it was an elderly couple that owned that house and the big lot next to it. It's been about 20 years or so since that happened. My condolences to you.
