Yeah let's forget separation of church and state. If love the constitution (2cnd amendment) you got to love the whole constitution!

7:51 AM is correct. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen - which will eventually cost the taxpayers of Hurlock.

Couldn't agree more 7:51, 7:56

I Love It !

This is the national motto.
Regardless of what trolls say, the right to display it is codified in the first amendment.
The 'separation of church and state' is simple-- the state is prohibited from interfering with the free exercise of religious rights.
Period.

Lets all pray to my 8 lb 2 oz baby Jesus, thats right my Jesus can still be a baby.

8:24 AM - The state is also prohibited from supporting any specific religion. "God" refers to a specific belief system (monotheism).

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion..."

The right to display "In God We Trust" is guaranteed to the People, forbidden by government.

By the way, this "national motto" wasn't created until 1956.

This is offensive to us Atheists! This makes me believe that the police only are there for the "God Folks", this is wrong on so many levels. I think if I lived there I would file a suit with the ACLU.

10:49, is money offensive to you? This motto is printed on it...I'm sure you have no problem receiving or spending it.

"..This makes me believe that the police only are there for the "God Folks"..

Words on a logo can't make you do anything. You choose your own beliefs. And your choice of an illogical belief doesn't negate the first amendment, nor does it create an obligation to cater to your "offended" sensibilities.

There is no constitutional protection against being "offended".

God Bless you 10:49

10:49, You're an Idiot and just stirring the pot. You are no Atheist.

This "motto" was shoved on the US by Eisenhower, who was a born again.

There is NO separation of state clause, phrase or anything like that in our Constitution. Educate yourself please.

Grow up. Nothing offense about it. Just because "you" think it is offensive doesn't mean it is. Different people have different"opinions". I think your opinion is offensive !

All 3 are the same person. How ironic that 3 in a row within a few minutes of each other will make this kind of comment. Right you homo, more forcing your minion views down our throats.

All these self proclaimed experts of the law. They heard someone else tell them something and all of a sudden they think it's gospel and the repeat it like they know the law. Dumb Morons!

Ok, born and raised Christian on the Eastern Shore.
Please show me a stitch of proof beyond superstition that any God exists.
Show how the "only begotten son" healed a leper instantly with only a touch or, uh... DIED and decided to come back. Yeah, that's it.
Find me a human who can part Assawoman Bay next time I need to get out of Ocean City really fast when the bridge is up or traffic snarled!
Then there's the whole Noah's Ark thing, etc.
I can not believe how gullible some people are. Then there's the whole kill in the name of Allah fad. Whew!

Enough with the GOD crap. Golden rule.

935 you have lived a sinful life and don't think you can be forgiven but you can be. Stop whining and running from fear of your own actions.

@2:41

Bit of advice on that chap. The gentleman asked for you to provide evidence of your claims... to demonstrate they are true.

To reply with more unsupported claims makes your position seem not only a lot less valid, but on the verge of absurdity.

Then, you throw in the bit about whining an running.... I may not accept your religious persuasion, but isn't judging someone reserved for your deity?
