A Message From Jim Ireton

Due to an unforeseen situation with his primary challenger,  Jim has been excluded from today's League of Women Voters event at Chesapeake College.
While Jim is disappointed, he is more upset that the voters who attend will be forced to listen only to the Republicans, led by Andy Harris.

Jim hates women....so I doubt his ducking out of this event was unexpected.

Confused... Ireton's Democratic challenger couldn't appear so they decided not to let Ireton to appear. The picture is funny Joe. I just didn't understand. Thanks.

Jimmy prolly ducked out because the panel of women questioners included Loree Chambers and Debbie Campbell.

What would be worst would be being forced to listen to Ireton. He treats women like they are second class citizens. Just ask Dr Lore Chambers. The way he talked to her was horrid and someone like Ireton should not ever be elected to a public office. He is crude and vulgar and needs to just go away. If he is upset about anything it should be his own lack of class, decorum and dignity.

looks like a group of sweetie pies

They are probably eternally grateful to his opponent for giving them a good reason to prevent a bilchfest!

If you want to talk to Jimbeau today, hit Rehoboth Beach, after dark!

Good!!! Now he knows what's it like to be treated like a second class citizen by women! Couldn't have planned it better!

Nobody's being forced to do anything. That's just more of Ireton's faux indignance hyperbole, something that he's well known to utter at any given moment.

Last poster is RIGHT ON. Typical Jim Ireton. Flailing, faking, disrupting, creating drama, acting like a 5 year old. Honestly, I hope and pray that enough people get out in the fall election because I do think Ireton will win the primary. His opponent has run before and lost and Jim's name recognition alone will probably get him the primary.

And I can imagine Jim at that forum being told he couldn't participate: "Come on girls! Let's blow this place and go get some cosmos in Rehoboth!"

Perhaps Ireton wasn't invited because he has absolutely no grasp of the real needs voters have in Maryland. He certainly proved his gross incompetence when he was mayor. Word gets around. People aren't impressed with candidates who possess failed records and indecent behavioral patterns.

I don't know why all of you clucks are bad mouthing gay boy. Most of you voted for your boyfriend. So stop fronting like you are somebody. Bunch of big mouths and wannabe's.

I did not vote for him in any of his runs for office. You can call folks big mouths or wannabe's but honestly I want them to keep clucking because we do NOT need Ireton in Congress. Ever.

Well I agree with you. But honestly, if voting really matters, why do the same types who do the same things always get "elected"? Seriously, think about it for a minute.

You have a person who runs for office, they say the guy in there now is no good, won't do this, doesn't do that. Elect him and all that will change, but it never does.

No matter which party, no matter which office, it's always the same results. The next election cycle comes around, and it's the same song and dance.

If what I am saying is not true, why do we have such corruption, a select few always getting richer at the expense of the many who always gets poorer? Certain laws apply to certain people/groups, while the same laws do not apply to other certain people/groups?

We are told which laws are being passed, whether or not we agree with them or vote on them? We are told what tax rates will be used and maybe told what they will be used for, not whether we want to be taxed or how much and for which purpose?

And if a certain area does not vote the way "they" want, they will redistrict the area to stack the votes the way they want. You buy property and you have 100 agencies and a 1,000 people telling you what you can or cannot do with it. You start a business, after you pay others to allow you to open a business, they they tell you how to run it, how not to run it, who you can hire, who you can serve, what you must pay.

We don't elect servants. We pay people to tell us what to do and when to do it. And if we don't obey, we pay other people to come lock us up or kill us.

We have become slaves to the very government and various agencies that were originally set up to do our bidding. We have no real control over our lives, only what is allowed by our masters. And only then after we pay them tribute.

But you're probably right. We will keep right on clucking but never quite reaching that carrot on the stick.

WTF did you just say????

This is nothing but worthless drivel. Can you uneducated morons just get to the point instead of posting this worthless drivel that makes absolutely no sense.

The minute I read "it doesn't matter which party" I know this goof has no clue what they are talking about.

I hear Jimmy sat in the front row pouting and snickering and sneering. Unprofessional. Can you imagine him in a Congressional hearing when someone says something he doesn't like? Or invited to the White House? Folks this isn't Mayberry City Council anymore. This guy is trying to go to Congress. Voter Werner if you're a Democrat in the primary. And EVERYONE vote Republican for Congress in the fall. I hope it's Harris.

i thought that was a picture of jimmy posing with a league of women voters...

maybe it's just you?

9:39, you need more education! When you see the Colorado county who cancelled a Republican's credentials when they found out he was for Trump, you will begin to understand the GOP position on Trump. When you read the articles about "Republicans against or vs, Trump, you will be more educated.

It doesn't matter "which party" anymore when it comes to R/D.

The Independent parties have remained pure, so they are kept in the doghouse for every election cycle so's to not "infect" the machine.

We have a need for all of theses laws in NC and Mississippi BECAUSE of people like Jim Ireton. He gives gay people a bad name. All of his unethical and childish behavior. Will Harris bring out the gloves? SKIP the gay stuff Harris. Skip it. Go to character. The Loree Chambers incident. The Rehoboth beach incident (you can talk about that without going gay gay gay). The accident the day after Christmas. There's plenty of evidence to defeat him. You can thank Jim Ireton for all these laws in NC and Mississippi.

What the event was there to have was a look at opposing views of the candidates. If Ireton were to have appeared alone, there would be no exchange of those views, only a campaign opportunity for Ireton.

Suck it up, Jimmy.
