The password for the San Bernardino shooter's iCloud account associated with his iPhone was reset hours after authorities took possession of the device.
The Justice Department acknowledged in its court filing that the password of Syed Farook's iCloud account had been reset. The filing states, "the owner [San Bernardino County Department of Public Health], in an attempt to gain access to some information in the hours after the attack, was able to reset the password remotely, but that had the effect of eliminating the possibility of an auto-backup."
Apple could have recovered information from the iPhone had the iCloud password not been reset, the company said. If the phone was taken to a location where it recognized the Wi-Fi network, such as the San Bernardino shooters' home, it could have been backed up to the cloud, Apple suggested.

There is one of two things happening here...
1) Is that apple knew the govt would keep on keeping on so they made an encryption so NO ONE can have access but the owner of the phone... This helps us fight the govt who LIED TO YOU AND SAID they do not spy on you when they do... They even called you terrorists for having that phone... The funny part is apple and every one wanted this encryption as a product of being lied to and to protect you and everyone else, which they wouldn't have to do if the govt didn't spy on you illegally...
2)Then you have the govt wanting back doors in their phone they cannot get into, so they say, which I don't believe... This is just another way to get into your lives and stop you from protecting yourself... As the poster above said, this guy is dead, they have his back up form the cloud, wtf else do they need??? NOTHING but to get a Carte Blanche to spy on you...
3)I also am 50/50 in believing that apple already folded and made a back door years ago, and is using this as a lour so you will not demonize them and stop buying their over priced crap from china... They know this will make them look bad and show they are no different than the govt for working with them so this is a cover up to make it look as if they are helping you, fighting for you and so on and so on...
I already thing they have a back door, already helped the FBI and will make some software to track you more... The only proof I have is history, which always repeats itself, because you fuckers are to greedy and only worry for yourself instead of others...
Since the whole affair was a false flag from the git-go (three military dressed men shooting up the place) I am sure this is a continuation with the goal being the American people willingly give up any little bit of privacy they have left from a tyrannical government.
