(CNSNews.com) – Talk show host and author Tavis Smiley told C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” on Friday that blacks have lost ground in every leading economic category in the last 10 years.
“It’s depressing. You have to go where the data takes you … and what the data tell us is … that black folk have fallen behind in every major economic category,” said Smiley, who talked about his book, “The Covenant with Black America: Ten Years Later.”

Thanks to Obama and the libs. The blacks just keep electing them and don't realize that the dems are their worse enemy.
No one is better off. Wake up America they are politicians. Hang em all. Then the lawyers and Judges.
Everyone has lost ground over the last years, but I do feel blacks' pain and agree with Tavis Smiley. Part of it, I think, is we are more polarized, more divided. Regardless of who is to blame, until we ALL see that this is a joint problem and work together, it will not get better, and we all lose.
