STATE POLICE RESPOND TO FATAL ACCIDENT IN SOMERSET COUNTY

DATE & TIME: 05/26/2015 1717 hours
LOCATION: Md Rt 413 Crisfield Hwy Near Charles Cannon Road
VEHICLE 1: 1997 4door Honda Civic
OPERATOR 1: William Alan Bashor 57 year of age male.

On 05/26/2015 at 1717 hours
Troopers of the Princess Anne Barrack responded to MD Rt 413 Crisfield Hwy in the area of Charles Cannon Road reference to a single vehicle collision. Initial investigation revealed Mr William Alan Bashor was traveling South bound on Crisfield Hwy in his 1997 Honda Civic when his vehicle went off the right side of the road striking a utility pole with Mr Bashor being fully ejected from his vehicle. Mr Bashor was pronounced deceased by EMS shortly after arriving on scene. Mr Bashor was transported to McCready Hospital and later transported to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for an Autopsy. MSP Advanced Collision Investigator was contacted and responded to the scene, with this collision still being under investigation.

this is so sad. I am a friend and fellow musician of bill, we played together in a band named Cottonmouth in the 90's we had a reunion just
2 weeks ago,bill was an awesome bass player, he could play anything.
I will miss him very much
