If people actually tried to help the police instead of trying to blame them all the time, their jobs would be a lot easier and they could spend their time a lot more effectively. True story

Even more so is that if they patroled instead of parked all the time, they'd be more effective and less a sitting duck. More so then that is if they actually had good response times then more criminals would be caught. More so .......... Stfu with that. It goes both ways.

It is not our job to do the Policing of our neighborhoods. It is their job, and they get paid handsomely for it, department deliberately under staff to create overtime, and the cops get paid on the average $35,000.00 without overtime. Then there are the perks, sit all day, text, watch videos, talk on the phone, sleep...

Most police do not care who likes them. If they wanted to be popular they would have become a Blogger, lol just kidding Joe. Police are going to keep doing what they do. Haters will hate and that is how it rolls. I respect all and fear none. That has been my mantra since I became a cop over twenty-five years ago. I respect those that sometimes I have to ask myself "why". The reason is because I chose to serve and protect. I did not sign up for eating the feces some sling my way daily that have never spoken a word with me. They know nothing about me or my beliefs. Some just lump all cops in one basket. They are no different then the racist out there that lump all Black or White into one group. This stereotypical behavior comes from those with weak minds and value systems. I learned long ago never judge a book by the cover you will be wrong most of the time.

So to those that say it is not our job to help with my neighbors you are wrong. It is that belief system that has led to our nations current turmoil. Trust me it will never hurt one to help a stranger or the police. It is not wrong to care. I hope sometime in your shallow life you find purpose. Just know me and those like me will be watching out for you. If you like it or not.

5:29, officer are sitting in their mobile offices doing the ridiculous amount of paperwork involved with the job.

$35,000 is being paid handsomely? lol wow what a joke. It's not worth the constant stress, abuse, horrible hours, physical violence, hatred, health problems directly linked to the job, etc etc etc

I could care less what happens in my neighbors house, as long as the bullets don't enter my living room, all is cool. You live a whole lot better if you stick to the rule of "See no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil". The best thing to be is a Sgt. Schultz, "I see Nothing". I would be on the phone everyday for all the stuff that goes on in my neighborhood here in Salisbury. One thing you hardly ever see though, a police car.
