Yea I think I will wait until we get past Thanksgiving

104.7 used to wait until Thanksgiving Day to start playing Christmas music. I feel like when Christmas gets commercial TWO MONTHS before, it just ruins it. By the time Christmas actually gets here, I'm so sick of all of it that I can't wait for it to be over.

Change the channel, even though Clear Channel/iHeart own almost everything Just don't listen.
I don't like it so it's not happening in my car

I don't like it - they have been using the same "tape" for those 10 years. Too many so-called contemporary songs instead of the old classics. Who wants to hear "Simply having a wonderful time" sung over and over for 3 minutes? Not me. Give me some of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Andy Williams, Perry Como, even Elvis. miss the older versions so I do NOT listen to Q105

What gets me about this (along with the ridiculously early start) is that they play multiple versions of not that many songs. "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" is one song, no matter how many different versions are played.

Heck - Wally world had Christmas stuff in their store before Halloween.

I agree, the commercialization and greed now associated with this holiday taints it. I have long stopped getting sucked into it.

Only the low IQ public get caught up in it.

At least wait until December.

This commercializes my favorite holiday. I wish they'd wait until 1 week before Christmas.
