Motorcoach Tours Return To Worcester County Recreation & Parks

Worcester County Recreation & Parks (WCRP) is excited to resume offering motorcoach tours and is offering four separate, fun-filled, family-friendly day trips to New York City in time for the 2014 winter holiday season.

Saturday, November 22, make a memory for you and your special young lady at the American Girl Place. Bring your favorite doll to join you for dinner at the American Girl Cafe. Also, there will be time to shop in rooms filled with beautiful dolls, books, accessories and outfits for both girls and dolls at the American Girl Shop. The cost is only $85 per person.

Thursday, December 4, catch the famous Radio City Rockettes. This show will be a delight for the whole family, as you watch the Rockettes perform their signature high kicks and precise choreography. The cost is $120 per person, which includes motorcoach transportation and a ticket to the show. Time is built into this trip to catch the show and still fit in a little sightseeing.
Saturday, December 13, spend six hours exploring the sights in New York City on your own. You could catch a Broadway show, ice skate or take a carriage through Central Park, view the Christmas trees on display at the Rockefeller Center, visit the museums, shop-till-you-drop at Macy's, Saks, Toy's R Us, FAO Schwarz, or tour historic sites, like the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building. This one-day trip with your personalized itinerary is $60 per person.

Thursday, December 18, WCRP offers a day trip to New York with two options from which to choose: explore New York City on your own at a cost of $60 per person for motorcoach transportation; or see the Radio City Rockettes perform at a cost of $120 per person, which includes motorcoach transportation and a ticket to the show.
