Run Opie run. That doesn't look like Barney Fife.
The only problem with "militarized" police, is that the military is trained to fight an "enemy" The only enemy for a militarized cop is civilians. Police are throwing out their former roles of "to serve and protect". Now they only serve the government and protect themselves. Don't count on them to save you, if it puts their highly armed life in danger.
