LOS ANGELES (TheBlaze/AP) — The family of a woman seen on a cellphone video repeatedly punched in the head by a California Highway Patrol officer want authorities held accountable for “beating a great-grandmother in broad daylight,” according to a Los Angeles attorney.
“We want the focus to be what he was doing to her, not what she was doing” prior to the confrontation, said attorney Career Harper, who said she is representing the family. “She was getting beat like an animal. No one should ever be beat like that.”
The video shows the woman struggling and trying to sit up while the officer pins her down on the side of Interstate 10 and punches her in the face and head until an off-duty law enforcement officer appears and helps him handcuff her.

no comments on this yet? not even from the Kop boot lickers? I hope kops families understand why people in general do not like kops. This is only one such example.
So when your loved ones do not come home, you will understand why.
Um what part of resisting arrest don't you understand? What part of fighting back don't you understand. I support this officer 100%
Unfortunately the video shows a black person and we know she has a free ticket to get out of jail free card. She is a POS that deserves what she got.
stop resisting! seriously a great grandmother? wow he must need more training shoulda knocked her out with one punch. totally pathetic for a human being to do something like this. after the investigation he'll be exonerated as usual!
Of course because she was black it's fine wat the officer did. Just wait till ur wife sistervor mother comes home afta a confrontation like this. See wat I think then

And you madam are an idiot.
All this woman was doing was walking. She ignored the kop telling her to stop. The kop, fearing she may get hurt, assaults her, throws her to ground, then proceeds to do a ground and pound on the womans head. I assume this is better than POSSIBLY being hurt while walking?
Or maybe the kops feelings were hurt when she ignored his command to stop?
From this video, there is no justification to arrest her in the first place, never mind resisting said arrest.
From what I watched on this video, it looked like she was defending herself from the kops blows, but I guess that is considered resisting?
The kop assaulted her. Not because there was any real need. The kop assaulted her because he could. And because he wanted to. And because he KNOWS nothing will be done about it, at least not anything that affects him.
At most, he will get a paid vacation, which he is already on, and the taxpayers will yet again have to pay out another settlement because of behavior from kops like this one.
You think the 'knock-out' game was bad? Just wait until the 'hunting kops' game begins.

I may like that game. Might feel bad for their families, but like they like to say, if they are not doing anything wrong....
Who is this woman? She's our next multimillionaire! Cops giving away our tax money to their victims, and paying the judges to do so. Meanwhile, the "cop" keeps his "job".

And that needs to stop. There is a movement growing to do just that. For the cops' families sake I hope it gets passed before other means are implemented.
