Brown Admits Maryland "Won't Likely" Keep Health Exchange Website.

Maryland apparently is going to abandon its glitch plagued health insurance website next week, after the current enrollment period ends on Monday night.

The Washington Post reports today that the board of the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange will vote on Tuesday on a measure to shut down the state's website, and combine it with Connecticut's in time for the next enrollment period which begins November 15.

Connecticut officials told WBAL News earlier this month that they had met with Maryland officials to discuss the issue.

It used to be we couldn't cross State lines to shop for our own private insurance policies, yet now with this new and improved system, our own state just can't seem to function and now it has to cross state lines to buy insurance? So, what private doctors and patients across America have been saying for years was stifled and choked, but now it's suddenly a good idea?
